Construction for contractors - legal duties

The introduction of the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2015 (CDM) increased the contractor’s responsibilities for health and safety. Contractors on all projects must plan, manage and monitor all work; employ workers with appropriate skills, knowledge and experience and more.

A service you can rely on

Our Chartered Health and Safety Advisors have provided advice to the construction sector for over 15 years. This includes working on major civil engineering projects, design and build, small-scale refurbishment and re-development projects. They are able to provide support to contractors working in both the commercial and domestic sectors.

What we offer

Our service is built around your needs. Examples of what we can do for you include:

Assist with the preparation of construction phase plans, risk assessments, method statements and more.

Provide competent advice on CDM 2015 compliance

Assist with Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP) competence assessments. This includes CHAS, Safe Contractor, Achilles, Constructionline and more.

Provide training and support to help staff to achieve CSCS, CPCS and other qualifications.
